What I recall about he death is that perhaps one of the main OP's submitted a report to whatever governmental institution and the cumulative result was sort of ultra-self-destructive spiral on her part. However, I heard rumors that someone entirely uninvolved with this whole investigation is who got to her when things were really starting to get unravelled for her.
