I am not an expert, but I have been studying nutrition at uni for 2 years. This is what I have learned from that about general weight loss.
Exercise: For FAT loss, the best way to exercise is to do long duration, low intensity exercises. biking, hiking, jogging, labour work. The reason this is best for fat is because of how the body responds to energy systems. Anything less than 3 minutes, your body will draw energy from the carbohydrate stores, not fat stores. This information leads to food
Food: This is 90% of WEIGHT loss. If you follow the information above, eat foods that are fatty. There are 3 main macronutrients. Fat, protein, carbs. For weight loss, focus on fat foods (for the same reason I talked about exercise). These fats must be all natural fats, nothing oily (unless plant oils) and no packaged fats. It is a huge misconception that fat makes you fat, or chubby.
Lifestyle: Change it! exercise longer, eat less processed foods, stop doing fat things. It is as easy as people says it is, just change your mind. Your mind is the biggest factor. Be smart, stop doing fat stuff. I hope this helps anon, and other anons reading. Again, i amnot an expert, but I do study Strength and Conditioning for athletes.
