My only other vaporizer experience are those $15 oil pens and a Magic Flight Launch-Box, so I can't speak from a wide variety of vaporizers.
$250 is pretty steep regardless, so if you can get it on sale, try to. But it's a fantastic piece of equipment, it does get you pretty high. I've found the highs to be very intense, but much more short lived (as in, you get fucked up, but not as long). It's also nice because you can learn to inhale less and less if you want something more mellow, and it's very sleek and inconspicuous. >>648180976>Doesn't get you that high and it's a bitch to clean.
Cleaning could be a bit easier, but it's not that bad. Pop out the mouthpiece, run a pipe cleaner with some rubbing alcohol down the tube, and a Q-Tip with some alcohol to clean up the oven area. The aftermarket screen makes it much easier to clean.
As for not getting you high, I'd wager money that guy didn't pack enough herb in, or tight enough. It flies in the face of most other vaporizers, but you have to pack the Pax very VERY tight with very VERY finely ground stuff.
So is it worth the money? If you're cool with spending $250 on a vape in general, yeah, it's absolutely worth it.
