I shot up heroin for about seven years, was a pretty bad addict. Don't do it anymore but in that time I overdosed and was brought back from paramedics 5 times. You can easily overdose from snorting are eating pills too. But if you move over to shooting up then you will most likely overdose at some point by accident, happened to countless people I know. Some died, some got saved.
