Hey there,

I'm new to fidgeting with the phone's soft, I have an xperia z1 compact running kitkat 4.4.4. Is it worth it to upgrade it to the most recent lollipop and then rooting it, or should I just root what I got and ignore the update?
Btw, I don't really need to install any mods or anything, I just need root access so that I can uninstall bloatware, have actual access to my external SD card and to the autostart options.

Would you kindly advise?
