personally I'm more concerned about what kind of a personality the voiced character will have. In Fallout 3 you always had options between witty, silly, rude and serious dialogue. From the footage we've seen so far the voice actor seems very dry and expressionless, sorta like the one's in Mass Effect or in the The Witcher 3.

I fucking hate their audience, so much. They don't give a shit about the story at all. FO3 wouldn't have the constant unwarranted praise it still gets today if that wasn't the case. Hell, most of them will just skip the dialogue regardless of how well/shitty it is written. Beth knows this and that is why they aren't marketing the story. Give their fans bigger explosions and power armor and they will line up to buy your shit.

Yeah, there isn't anything we can do. Old games are still good, though. Still worth playing again. Shit rarely gets old. Also, if you get some friends together and play Fallout Online: reloaded. Really glad that game exists but the playerbase is small.

I disagree that the New Vegas companions were walking planks, they were miles more interesting and well written than Bethesda's garbage. I didn't enjoy most of them but I will acknowledge that. Fallout New Vegas was a worthy addition to the series overall.
