Wait as late in the day as you can to start smoking every day. Like ideally you want to cut back to one a day or less and have it be at night, say 9 or 10 pm. it will be hard at first but if you feel you need one, light one up when you 'can't take it anymore' (pussy) and then put it out midsmoke. Honestly that's it, just cut back gradually until you're at that point and then it will be comparatively easy to drop completely.
Basically titrate off the shit.
Also many people have found success with nicotine gum or patches but remember that smoking while using these products can be dangerous.
