You /b/ros ever wonder when the worlds going to end? earths climates already fucked with a fucking massive hurricane in mexico and there is estimated to be a mini ice age in 2050.

How do you define the world's end? If you define it as when humanity is extinguished; when the last reasoning animal is passed, when the last word has been written, then the "end" of the world may be within the next hundred years. However, if you're referring to the absolute and permanent destruction of the biosphere, or the planet in general, it might not be for another 1-4 billion years.

I feel like we often confuse our constant new understandings of earth as fast progression in changes. Sure, it's evident the earth is in decline but the severity and its effects on its current inhabitants is often exaggerated.

Though I'm fully for doing everything we can to leave a better earth behind us, I don't think acting with urgency is wise.
