My next step would be to wonder why some deity/god/higher power saw fit to choose me as his priestly representative on Earth. I would name my new found master and tell others of his greatness. Suggest to others that we must appease said deity carefully to not incur wrath. Have my followers build a temple with a large stone replica of the item and have them bring offerings of food and valuables and virgins that I will administer. Some, the ugly virgins, will be sacrificed. The other virgins, the hot ones, will become my harem so that we may breed future priests and soldiers to rule after I am called to sit beside my god in paradise. We will have a free love society and practice constant sexual rites to increase our numbers so that many can worship my god. We will militarize our clans and take our religion to other clans, by force if need be. When I am so old that I feel I may die soon I will gather my flock to me and give them new stern rules on how to live a puritan lifestyle and no longer have fun, just meditate and pray and give all wealth to my children who will rule them perpetuity.
