What gets your face super dry and sucked in?

Some say cocaine, some say the dehydration from alcohol. What have you personally noticed gets your face super sucked in "death face" look? For me the tightest my face looks is if I don't sleep for a few days. My face always looks its best dehydrated, I have good cheekbones and a manly jawline and a dry face just brings it out more.
